How To Measure Your Ring Size

There are a few ways to determine your perfect fit. You can measure an existing ring or measure your finger directly.

Method 1

Measure an Existing Ring

  • Select a ring that properly fits the intended finger.
  • Place the ring on a ruler and measure the internal diameter in millimeters (mm).
  • Ensure you are measuring the inside of the band, not including the metal casing.
  • Use the Diameter column in the chart below to find your size.

Method 2

Measure with String or Paper

  • Cut a thin strip of paper or non-stretchy string about 100mm long.
  • Wrap the paper around the base of the finger you intend to wear the ring on.
  • Mark the spot where the paper overlaps with a pen.
  • Measure the length of the paper strip in millimeters (mm).
  • Use the Circumference column in the chart to find your size.
